Santiago Lopez, widely known as “Tactical Santi,” is an owner of Coast 2 Coast Tactical, a USPSA Master Class competitive shooter, and firearms instructor dedicated to helping shooters develop greater confidence, proficiency, and performance with their firearms.

Santiago’s approach to shooting is built around a constant pursuit of improvement. Through years of training and time behind the gun, he has developed a strong foundation in firearm safety, handgun fundamentals, accuracy, speed, movement, weapon manipulation, and practical shooting performance.

His journey through USPSA competitive shooting has played a major role in shaping him as both a shooter and instructor. Reaching Master Class required developing a high level of speed, accuracy, efficiency, movement, stage execution, and the ability to perform under pressure. Competition continues to challenge Santiago to refine his technique, identify weaknesses, and push his performance to the next level.

That competitive experience directly influences the way he teaches. Santiago believes effective firearms instruction goes beyond simply learning how to shoot—it requires understanding how to train, how to diagnose inefficiencies, and how to build repeatable skills that hold up when speed and pressure are introduced.

At Coast 2 Coast Tactical, Santiago works with shooters at all levels, from those developing their fundamentals to experienced shooters looking to improve their speed, accuracy, efficiency, and overall performance.
